Looks alright. Better than the 1st trailer, at least.

I'm not a big fan of Snyder as a director.

But this film looks more visually interesting than his previous films.

Will probably watch this when it hits DVD...

Finally........a modern Superman movie that doesn't try (and fail) to pay homage to Christopher Reeves' Superman.
This looks like the movie is going to be pretty legit.

Have hope this is the right Zack Snyder. Some very nice stuff in there. Cautiously optimistic.

Oh, and THANK GOD THEY ARE TELLING HIS ORIGIN STORY AGAIN, I HAVE NOT SEEN THAT ENOUGH TIMES.

As far as I'm aware, there has only been one theatrical film that has told Superman's origin so far, so it's not that insane

I'm getting a very strong Dragonball Z vibe... young infant of a Powerful Race lands on Earth and later must face invaders from his own planet....

Probably seasoned with "His father doesn't believe in Imperialism but his world view is that of a minority on Krypton".

No no no.. That's what happens if Zack Snyder directs Birds of Prey with Supergirl in it.
And yes... A lot of adolescent males gonna watch that one too!

Literally, perhaps, but Superman Returns revisited it so much it felt like we started over. Then Smallville, etc. it's one of those things so ingrained in the pop culture fabric it feels redundant, kind of like having to sit through Spiderman's origin story again, or Hulk's.

It's just the nature of the reboot/retrofit/mulligran wave we're in right now, but it can be frustrating.
