I don't even have words for this. That's $100 million they could have used for something...idk...useful....

This should clear things up a bit:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ed-critics.html

Have to say, i had never even heard of the project until today.
And some sources say it was close to 200 mil...
Now if i could only find that ancient aliens guy meme with him saying "chinese" and post it here.
No offense.

So like, it'll be like Tarsem Singh does Little Mermaid..and some of that Cirque Du Soleil shit. Final Fantasy. Star Wars. Krull. Chronicles of Riddick. Scorpion King. Yeah!

Is that guy EVER going to show up with our other 8-ball?

Bored Chinese Real Estate Billionaire decides to make Epic movies with lots of cash.

Bored Chinese Real Estate Billionaire now, belatedly, realizes that there is a lot more to filmmaking than throwing Dollar 100 Million in the air...

I think "tragic" is the only word that describes the result.

Suddenly I'm not so worried about my job being outsourced...

Wow, that looks really, really bad...and that's after watching a crappy low quality trailer. It must look even worse on the big screen.

Must be tough to spend $130 million on such a product.

That really makes Michael Bay movies look like well-thought-out, deep-thinking masterpieces.

And when they were hunting for a new director, what, was Uwe Boll not available?

I like the wacky Willy Wonka titles in the trailer

Wait... this isn't some dark Tim Burton comedy?

Oh...

Honestly, the graphics kinda appeal to me, in a cheesy sort of way. It's how they managed to spend a hundred million on them that puzzles me.

A testament of why not hiring the right people for the job can turn any project into a disaster
