So much stuff going on that doesn't make sense to me since i don't know the universe. But I really like it just because of that. I had a nice feeling while watching that.

You know, maybe it's just me, but it is so booooooring to watch once again redcolored evil guys fighting bluecolored good guys..

Don't really follow the games but in my opinion the art was amazing as usual. It has the typical FF style characters and magic that look like super powers but I'm a sucker for that sort of thing, plus don't forget the good old dragon is thrown in.

When I first saw the big planet thingy coming down, I thought this is going to be awesome. Then I just saw Bahamut come out and I was like meh. Then he started flying aroudn destroying shit and the elf dude came out and I was like .Yeah. That was kind of awesome, reminds of of the great cinematics in FF9.

I was a massive fan of Square's glory days on the SNES and PS1. I haven't been a fan of Square's in a very long time though. The latest FFs just seemed to get stupider and stupider looking.

However, this is the best thing I've ever seen by Square. I don't know anything about the game but this has me at least intrigued in FF again. Very reminiscent of the Warcraft III intro.

That's actually a pretty good summary

Utterly vacuous and devoid of anything worth saying....better throw in another effect.

To give some perspective as someone who has played this game before...

I still don't know what's going on

Still, pretty amazing from a visual point of view.
It's been quite a ride for Square's Visual Works Studio, and they've gotten very far.
I remember seeing the FF8 intro back in '99, and being blown away back then.
I look at this today, and i realise just how much this medium has evolved.

Everything here is visually incredible, so props to all artists involved. Unfortunately that's about the only thing incredible about this trailer.

Well you gotta hand it to Square Enix.

After low player turn-out, and never ending bugs and other things they couldn't fix... They sure let FF XIV die with a bang.

It will be almost a year now without any new Final Fantasy output as Square Enix regroups and thinks about what to do with this property after it suffered something like a 66% audience drop in Japan alone when only about 34% of the usual buyers bought FF XIII-2 when it hit shelves in Japan.

On the video, of course it was very good, and very Japanese.... There's a nice quality about it, but also a "distant" quality about it.....Somehow it just never felt like it was really happening. But this is definitely the most impressive "3D cartoon" I have seen to come out of Japan.
