publication about perception of surface gloss
In the journal "current biology" an article about perception of surface gloss was recently published. Unfortunately its not free. But here`s the link to the paper:
surface gloss paper First sentence of the header: "The amount and spectral content of the light reflected by most natural surfaces depends on the structure of the light field, the observer’s viewing position, and 3D surface geometry, particularly for specular (glossy) surfaces." |
