Photoshop question, prefix save format

Hi there,

we're at the moment doing our bachelor project. 10 man have to do a movie in 8 months.

We are at the moment making the animatic with JPEG's. Problem is that when we have 100 layer photoshop files with the frames in, we want to save a file out of a layer as a JPEG, but everytime we do so, it is preset to save as PS file, is there a way to set it to preset it to know it should suggest JPEG as a save file?
