Job salary question

Greetings,

I am a computer animator in the medical field who makes 52k a year, my job includes health benefits. My age is 30yrs old and I live in MD. I work ridiculous hours and can't help but feel undervalued...I think every animator can relate to that :( ...but I was wondering is that number too low for a person with almost 8 years experience at that age? I would greatly appreciate any incite.

Thanks

Yes that's far too low but I'm afraid we don't allow salary discussions on this site.
