Crumble Test Help

Hi, I need some help. I'm using the DMM Plugin to shatter a statue for a short I working on. I have a full statue that is all quads in Maya and I have filled all hole including Mouth, Eyes, Ears, and Nostrils. I've deleted all history and frozen transformations. I've veryfied the Polymesh, but no matter what I do. The DMM Plugin will not recognize the Statue and change it into a DMM Object so I can Shatter it. I also tried destroying it using the basic Dynamics Solid Shatter Effect, but that didn't work either. Please help! ASAP!

I assume you have run the meshverify tool on the statue mesh? how many problematic areas did it find?
