Hyundai "Hyper-Matrix" Mechanical Pixels + Projection

Thought this was really cool..the beginning is the most interesting, but it is also cool how it augments the projection as they play out.

A little higher res of just the pixel boxes, a video on their channel also shows the assembly:

It isn't the first demo of "physical pixels" I have seen, but certainly the largest-scale one I've seen so far.

Must have cost a bunch to make this happen...

The stuck one was annoying me. Also, after the whole 'moving pixels' thing, it was just cheesy graphic projections. But I still liked it.

Very well done. The audience didn't seem to appreciate all the effort that went into it, I didn't hear any applause.
I like to learn.

I work in this field and it always blows my mind how the easy cube scenes are the most interesting for the audience.
But yeah, even if its easy to do, I'm still amazed every time I see it live. It's even more interesting when you have an interesting architecture to project on.

PS: In my signature is a link to litte making-of for a projection I worked on.
Passion is the key.
