Wow, I've seen this workshop now, I love modeling/sculpting, I'm in!

Hm... a bit of Karmic timing on this workshop, as my long-neglected "Strange Behaviour" CG Challenge entry features an elderly character. I've even got reference lined up and ready to go. Since there is no restriction as to subject, and since the end date of the workshop is about a month before the CG Challenge dealine, this might be a good way to get going on my entry again.

How long is it for and i'm probably only going to have access to blender. So a blended sculpt.

Old 08 August 2007   #35
The workshop's running until September 28th - so 1 full month! And no problem - you're allowed any sculpting software

its firt time that im in a challenge
i`ve some questions...
the model must be same as the painting or its free to change ?...model must be textured ? model must be full body...?

im not sure its exactly what i want to work on...
i did it with my base model in zbrsuh for something about 3 hours...just for start and test

skulll_monster - just 3 hours? great job so far!

If you are copying a painting then yes it's supposed to look like it - just make a decision what you are aming for. If you want to do a variation on the original - no problem...The choice is yours but it would be great if you stated what it was

Which painting were you aiming for?
no it doesn't have to be textured - but if you make a great sculpt and want to texture it - go for it! and no you can do either a full body or just a head - the goal is to make it as good as you can... if you think you'll manage a full body in a month and make it look wicked - great

keep going!

EDIT: - please remember to make the future images max 800px wide - not to stretch the thread

living_for_cg - awesome - looking forward to what you come up with
