C4D Waterbed

Hi, I'm trying to make a realistic looking/moving waterbed in C4D. I've modeled it with a cube with a cloth tag and Hypernurb to give it a "pillow" or mattress look, but I'm having trouble making the movement of the bed look real. I'm using a soft body tag now, and experimenting with a mesh deformer, various other deformers, and effectors, and trying to keyframe the movement of the waves in the bed as an object sitting on the bed moves around. Has anyone had experience working with soft bodies in this capacity, a 3D waterbed and/or keyframing liquid or wave-like movements in C4D?
