The Golden horn

Here is a matte painting inspired of Golden_Horn , as the name suggest this one is hugely inspired of the amazing time I spent in Istanbul last year, I wanted to capture the essence of the 16th century ottoman cityscape besides the mesmerizing Bosphorus.

Hi Rahul!!

Nice painting!! The detail in the mountains behind, compared to the original plate, adds a lot of richness to the scene.

At the first glance though, I found that the castle was a little too bright or the rocks too dark beneath it.. Maybe if you added some details at the base of the castle (plants, fence, etc) it would help to smooth the "line" transition between the two?... I'm no pro, this is just my opinion.

Nice scene : )

Thanks a lot for the comments Eric. I had worked more on the BG, I agree with you there are some issues in the FG.

Here is an update
