Hi :)

After the defeat at the river Telos, the Shazram tribe of monkeys have all but lost the war with the violent and desperate wombat clans.
With wombat armies marching towards the village, the last Legion of Shazram heads out to confront them one last time.

My first post on the forum

Cool concept and it has monkeys in it! My only crit is the monkeys head is squarish, it could use some roundnig in my opinion. I do like the overal square shape, just not at the corners. And another Wom<x> character!

Modeling: Short Sword Model: Problems

Hi Womball :)
Thanks for looking at my work.
I totally agree, the Monkeys head is far too square.
I hadn't really noticed until you pointed it out - I guess I had blurry eyes from staring at verts all day ;)
(Cool name btw hehe)

Update: Sword model test.

I've highlighted two problem areas I know about.
Can't for the life of me figure out how to do nice woven banding on the grip.
Other area is the nasty elipse gems.
nice spheres without resorting to boolean hell is testing a bit.

Off to work on the Helms now :D
Loving the challenge and enjoying looking at all the amazing entrys.
Some of you are far too talented ;)

Concept Sketch: Transport

Quick sketch of the Monkeys transport that I had stuck in my head.
I can't seem to stop thinking of new ideas even when I'm away from the computer (hence the pen drawings sorry).

Modeling: Wire: Base

I forgot to show the wires.
My Topography sucks but with the help of a friend it is slowly improving.
I still sometimes find myself with headaches after 4 hours of wrestling with loops though :P

EDIT: Hopefully fixed the little mans square-headed problems now. C&C's very welcome (please)

...and a cheeky glamour shot hehe ;)

Fed up wrestling with the helmet for today, so I'm going to make a start on the little chaps body.
Bye bye for now :D

There you go! Love the expression too. Um will any of monkeys have bags of poo ammunition? Its a monkey tradition of flinging it.
