Hi folks. I've been a bit slow on the uptake with this challenge, but i had an idea last night that i feel i would like to work on which involves a clown, a unicycle, and a mountain pass, all in cartoon style. Good luck to one and all.

Concept Sketch: Rough 3d sketch

ok this is the feel that i'm aiming towards for the background. I want a very panoramic type format and lots of bright colours.

Thanks for the comments guys, i still haven't formulated my idea yet. I'm now working on concept 2, here's a quick overview of what i have in mind.

Angus is tired, no correction, Angus is very, very, very tired. He has just done a twelve hour shift at work, it is nine pm and the boss has just filled up his in tray with work that needs to be completed by the morning, and so his journey begins, working through the night on a mound of paperwork.
I like the idea of this concept as it gives me a lot of freedom to explore emotions and empathy. I want to create an image that people can instantly relate to but also give it a twist in the way that it is executed. I like real life sittuations over fantacy, being a meat and two veg, pipe smokeing, slipper wearing kinda guy and am much more at home working with this kind of subject matter.

Concept Sketch: concept sketch 2

Here is a sketch, i want Angus to look like he's melting onto the desktop, to exagerate his deflated feeling. On his left will be an in-tray,full to overflowing with paperwork and on his right will be an out tray that is empty.

Shakes Glad you like the concept, i feel happy with this one and am looking forward to the modeling. I've had it in mind for a long time now to model without symetry and be more organic in the way i do things, just hope i can pull it off.

DaddyMack Thanks for your help buddy, i'm feeling at home already.
