Concept Sketch: A journey to nowhere

A quick sketch to show how the final image could look like (sure I will made a lot of changes etc)... the characters will be fantasy-insects... well.. hope to finish it ;)

Hi Stephane, Very nice sketch, I find your character very amusing, I wish we coudl have some more of the history with this guys. after watching your website I am sure this is going to be a great piece, I ll keep track of it.. very nice..

Modeling: modeling bugs

I start modeling Bugs...those bugs will be unusuals.. inspired in real ones.. but differents. For the organics parts I will model parts of them in Zbrush as I show in the image 1_Max low-model, I import in Zbrush this low-model 2_Zbrush sculpting 3_model exported to MAx.. I add a optimize-modificator + meshmooth iteration 1.. to smooth the model... well, Why I do That?... to optimize a lot the total of polygones that will have the entire scene.. but giving the sensation to have organic pieces...
