Cool

Nice ship.I am kinda engaged with a ship.
If you can use some dirt and mud at the bottom to show that it touches the water.

Shading (Textured and lit): Working on the grass

Two examples of grass. I think putting high grass everywhere will kill the effect of the flying rocks. As I made on the second example it`s much more interesting to have the grass in clumps. The other green could be more some kind of moss covering the rocks. It just needs some bump and specular effects.

Thank you Vedic-kings - it`s only procedural textures here on the rocks. I have to add some bitmap ones and make this green looking more like moss.

Of course... only some "touches" of grass will be better... better to read the picture, better while enriching visualy... so, better for me

Modeling: Inhabitants - seal

Seal: see description on image for more info ;-)

It`s one of my first cg characters ever made, please send any comments about the modeling. I have certainly to improve some details and of course make a nice skin texture.

Ha ha, I am still pretty shy for topology correction or critique, but some wire will do better view. From this point, it looks funny and friendly (of course not to play trumpet) What are those artefacts on "forehead" and "shoulders" and... looks like bad subdivision to me. Head looks pretty nice but rest of the body need some tweaks. Mainly fin things. http://www.hasslefreeclipart.com/cl...images/seal.gif
Hope that I help you. Keep going
