The extra D! Great! I agree with you: the 2d illustration is spectacular and I think you'll make a wonderful 3D version of it! Good luck!

Well I Think I should update this soon. I started with Gretel earlier this week. I didn't get too far. I am really trying to get the porportions to feel right. I also tried to do some z_brush stuff, but it crashed and I lost a bit of work. AH computers.
Anyway, I am going to try and push myslf to learn a couple of things so I may be a bit slow. I will post the model when I get home however.

Thanks for visiting

Modeling: Gretel model

SO it begins. The hard part for me.
I am still working out the size relationships and form.
Then I will jump in to Z-Brush. That should be fun.

Here is the final drawing for Gretel.

I don't think I can say this enough. You really have a fantastic style! I think your model is a good start. However, in your concept sketch her forehead is smaller than in your model.

???

That's a great concept. I like the atmosphere and the mistery you can feel in the middle of that wood. I will keep watching for your work.

really nice character design for Gretel... she really got this German bavarian style with this traditional costume on.

The sketches are amazing! I hope you can achieve that in modeling. The models eyes could be bigger. They seem small compared to the concept.
