amazing , and yes your eye shader is awesome. if you can just show abit it would be awesome.
and about the nose how could you show it more like wax? it's very nice indeed.

Interesting to know more of your workflow, it seems there's an error in your type of the url, i tried the j06.jpg file in your folder (imgup) and it works, i'll be back to see more

Actualy nothing to critics appart the shape of the eyes, she's relly cute.
the eyes are a little bit triangulary for me. I really like the nose and the mouth. But like all your work, it's so great..
One question, what shader did you use for the second sphere for the eye? raytracing objets? I read your other thread but didn't find.... It is a MR shader or a standard shader?

Modeling: Big fish

This is the little girl's ride (the blue sphere represents the girl's head to figure out proportions). It's a mix of a sort of old fish and a Betta Splendens.

dt3d : Indeed, the second sphere is a simple fully tranparent, reflective Raytrace material with a 1.5 IOR, whereas the first one has a SSS material. Hope it helps

imho maybe some little bit specular will be better
