Nice image so far. Especially nice setting, 'though the gloominess of the setting doesn't quite match the happiness of the characters. I also don't get a sense of this being a journey beginning, it seems more like they are well underway. Anyhow good luck finishing in time...!

All I can say is YEEEEEHAHHH~~~~ here we go!!!

Really love ya piece but in my thought......only close up like ya recently wips is greater than full piece, the childs can fully express their extreme feeling but the full ver. make all guys look little and full of silent space.

Sorry if ya plan to add something in the empty silence space.

Goodluck!

thx for the comments

the final lightning should be much more happier more fairy tale like and also the flower haven't been added yet.

" I also don't get a sense of this being a journey beginning, it seems more like they are well underway."

I wasn't really sure if the came all the way true the little river or if they where dropt there by chopper. But now I'am quite sure I am gone go for the second one. So I stille have to draw some ropes to make it clear.

"only close up like ya recently wips is greater than full piece, the childs can fully express their extreme feeling but the full ver. make all guys look little and full of silent space."

-Fiduciose

I get what you're saying but I'll have to keep the basic composition due to the time limit .
However I'll hope to still accentuate the dudes by using lightning and depth of field. So the attention of the viewer is drawn towards them althought the only take in a few space in the picture.

hope this helped,
greetz p

I was just going to say that a warmer / brighter lighting situation would bring up the background nicely. With that added I think the low visibility / enclosed quality of the background will go perfectly with the characters there, mysterious and magical with just enough brightness to the whole thing.
