I'm currently using PhysX with RayFire in Max 2013.
Within Rayfire the objects can have different materials applied that have physical properties:
Density (range .01 - 1000)
Friction (range 0 - 50)
Bounciness (range 0 - 1)
Solidity (range 0 - 10000)
What I want to know (or rather the engineers that I work with) is what the units of these numbers are? For example, in the material presets concrete has a density of 3, but 3 what?
Can anyone shed any light on these numbers?
