Expression-->material not rendering

Hi, I have a material with a texture file in the Color/Luminance/Alpha tab and I got this strange error.

1. I created a custom User Data as Texture and as File and tried connecting it to the material via Xpresso, to control and change the material via custom user interface. The problem is the scene is not rendering when I do that.

2. I tried using Set Driven from Color and then Set Driver to Luminance and Alpha texture, and the same error, the material does not render (I click render and nothing happens).

Please, if anyone has an answer, this is driving me crazy.

Let me clean up the scene before sending it to you.. can I mp you the scene? its a work in progress.

edit... its working now, I still want to send you the scene, although it would be nothing to see.

edit2... I dont know how it fixed itself.
