Plugin for Net Render Server - is it possible?

Hi peeps

I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to write plugins for the net render server... I'm talking about the actual server here, not the render clients.

What I am trying to achieve is that the server will run a batch file (for example) each time the active render queue goes from zero queued jobs to 'more than zero', and again run another batch file if the active render queue goes back to having no jobs in it... I'm trying to automate powering on/off of the render client boxes depending on whether the farm is rendering or not (think green!). I have everything in place to control the power from a normal command line or batch file, but I don't know, and can't find anything anywhere, about how to work with the net render server specifically.

Any advice from anyone with the knowledge would be really appreciated.
