Modeling: face and glasses

thanks everyone! I modified the nose and face loops a little and added a few more control points for his brow/eyebrows. Also started on the glasses.
this weekend..the body..and it's no Elle Macpherson!

Wow, I've been admiring your 3d cartoons in the newspaper for ages, but I hadn't noticed you here at cgtalk before.
Looking like a very cool concept, the sculpture is damned cool, and the modelings going very nicely, looking forward to more!
Am I right in thinking that the face was assymetrical at first, but has gone symmetrical in the latest update? If so, I think the mouth should go back to the assymetrical sneer at some point. Plus, the edges of the lips are standing out to me, like the lips look too protrusive & stuck-on to the face, particularly at the corners of the mouth. This could be a stylistic choice, but I'd prefer to see the lips blend in a little bit more around the corners of the mouth.

geez, so many sydney siders! great to see you all. glad you like the newspaper stuff gjpetch! it's a struggle with crap newsprint, but lots of fun.
the face looks symmetrical at the moment-I'll start altering the sides and mouth etc soon-
I definately want that lopsided lip look! I'll probably start on his body then finalise the expression. can't wait to get stuck into that flab!
cheers, shakes

great modeling Shakes, you're really capturing the essence of Elvis in his latter years. I love your style
