Yeah! Good luck Michael, I hope you'll find the time to come up with another blinder this time round. I do like the sound of your new art studio at home though ... something I dream of, since I'm still working at a desk at the foot of the bed in our bedroom.

Concept Sketch: Prehistoric Fireworks

Well gee, thanks everyone! So nice to see all my friends here again!

Well, the way it works out, I have hardly any time for painting in the next month. (My computer time this very moment is cutting into my packing time.) BUT... I still have my daily commute on public transportation. And that means... sketch time! So here's my first doodles:

It's way back a long long time ago. Picture the most gorgeous sunset you've ever seen. Now add to that a giant ball of fire, lazily drifting down through the clouds, illuminating them from within, behind... everywhere. And just to add to the fun, the volcanoes are spitting up bursts of lava all of the sudden. The colors are unbelieveable, and they reflect off of the water on the placid swamp.

In Caveman Creek, an awed bunch of friends have gathered to watch the show of a lifetime. Of anyone's lifetime. It's:

PREHISTORIC FIREWORKS
- or -
'It's the End of the World s We Know It, and I Feel Fine."

Still got some bugs to work out... just can't seem to draw that perfect "Ooooooooooh!" expression. Oh, well, there's time. And I may come up with something completely different. But at least I got something up...!

Okay, back to packing! :)

Yo Mike...I immediately recognized your sketches by the character's eyes. I think that is your trait. I wish you best of luck...

hehe...the cutie in the corner running away also seems to be something coming only from you.
