Illustration question

I was wondering,could anyone inform me whether there are community colleges that have an associate degree in illustration?(concept art,entertainment design)


If yes could you please recommend me the best community colleges?

Hello, can you define where you are looking, specifically the US?? I think your best bet is searching Google. It's the same thing I would do. Maybe once you've narrowed your search we'd be better able to help.

A suggestion is if you are thinking about US schools specifically, look in areas that generally cater to illustration - big cities such as New York and Los Angeles are illustrator heavy and therefore have schools that support that industry. I'm pointing out these 2 cities only as examples. There are of course other big cities in the US, many of which will have some sort of focus on illustration in their community colleges.

I know that Pasadena City College in Pasadena, CA, has several of the same teachers that teach at Art Center. You could check into that program, though YOU will have to do the research to see if they have degree programs or only offer courses of study.

I would prefer to be honest schools near california.I have been searching the net a lot (i am not fond of where good illustration schools are and up to now i only found degrees in studio art)

I think that schools like Pasadena City College and even Santa Monica College have some entertainment oriented programs. Check out the webpages for those schools and see if they offer what you are looking for. Also you might want to check out this helpful forum specifically related to schools in the US.
