wow i went to body world last week, for those of you who live in toronto i'm sure you guys know this since the poster is everywhere. anyway it was great !. i was so amazed that everything is real, they remove the skin and everything using a high tech method, i can really see all the muscles under the skin. unfortunately i wasnt able to take photograph, ( well i tried to take a few photographs and planned to post it here since i thought it could be a great reference for you guys, but the security caught me and ask me to delete all the pictures i took, sad - but hey couldnt blame me for trying , i couldnt resist). They sell the books and all the merchandise there, but i didnt get the book since it was so expensive and most pages only contain information about the process and their technology, but i managed to buy alot of postcard with a high quality photograph. i'll scan them all once i get back from work today , cheers

I have noticed this exhibit when it was last year ... I think it looks very interesting because you have chance to see what you wouldn't normally see well if you are not medicine student or something like that and since I'am very interested in anatomy I woudn't mind to visit it if it would be anywhere near which is unlikely but anyway thanx for information .

Hmm, well, ironically the show originates in Germany...closer to your neck of the woods... ~ do they do the show there? I think this show travels all over the world...

Cheers,

Hmm, I guess if you were interested in future exhibits (you're right, they haven't announced them yet) you could subscribe to their newsletter here:

wow cool images. I usually can't handle looking at 'real' images of human body parts (I can cope with the drawings), makes me feel ill, or I faint lol. For some reason though I can handle those images, perhaps it's because they don't look real weird huh?

They are real right?

There's a body museum here in the UK in London (I haven't been to it) I heard it's good though.

Hey there, did you want to go ahead and create the Beginners' Lounge, or did you want me to do that? I'd be happy to ~ let me know what you would like to see there ~ is it a discussion area / place for images / both? I'll be happy to create the thread if you want me to.

Cheers,

~Rebeccak
