zoki,

Awesome work! I checked out your blog and you have an incredible history ~ it would be great if you ever wanted to create a Tutorial here on the Anatomy Forum in whichever medium / media ~ traditional or digital.

Looking forward to seeing more of your stuff!

Cheers,

~Rebeccak

zachdt3D,

Ha, very cool ~ what program are you using? Is this for a particular project, or just personal?

Cheers,

zachdt3D,

Ah, no I didn't, thanks!

I think your previous one is better, and quite cool ~ but I think things look a bit 'rubbery', ie, without bones.

The remedy for this is to look at real animal anatomy. I recommend finding references on the web for various animals' anatomy ~ you can also check out this thread, which has some links related to animal anatomy (mostly horses):

Reference for Anatomical and Figurative Art

http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=257570

See post #2, which has all links organized according to category. There's a cat. for animals.

Try doing some studies / drawings of animal anatomy, and adapt it to your creature. Ultimately, all creatures you imagine are going to be some combination of different animals, so really necessary to familiarize yourself with the bone and muscle structures of animals.

Cheers,

~Rebeccak
