Frumsylgu,

WOW!!! This is just fantastic work!!! Can you tell us something about the medium used, the project these were done for, etc? Also, it would be cool if you could tell us a bit about your bkgrd / training.

Cheers!

Thank you, I appreciate the feedback. The project was done for a story boarding class I took last quarter. The assignment was to find a script for a movie and produce 25 boards dipicting the action. I used the Disney version of the Three Musketeers. I chose it because I had read the book, but couldn't remember seeing the movie (I didn't want my work to be influenced by it). It turns out that the scene I did wasn't even in the movie (after doing the story board, I understand why).

The medium I used was prisma markers for the most part, but unfortunately I ran out before I finished (not to mention I was getting a headache from the fumes) so I did the last 10 on the computer with painter.

As for my background, I am currently in my second year at the Art Institute of Colorado going for my B.A. in Media Arts and Animation. I'm focusing myself toward character animation, but I also really enjoy doing concept work.

This one is for my father.

All of these have character, story and design by myself. I haven't done a board yet that wasn't something of my own design. The luxury of being a hobbiest.

man your boards rock, nice work, the 1st one is really clear and simple to the point. the robot one is really nice, that is the finished level we should all aspire to.sorry about your dad, i lost my mom the 1st year at university.any way thanks for posting.

Thanks PENCIL-SLINGER! I wish I had some more current ones to show you. These are all about 5 years ago.
