You can do it by events or activities.



-Dance

-Sport

-Circus

-War



For example for the “dance”, one person can go from hip hop and other to very classical type of dancers. And draw those poses with as much feel and movement as possible.



You could also restrict some challenges with materials. Though this will limit a lot of people, especially if you limit people with traditional mediums.

Also, challenges can be focused on everyday poses of various professions, football player, teacher, internet surfer

how about extreme phenotypes? Massively overweight, anorexicly skinny, stuff like that? different body types and what-not.

I think it would be interesting to have a challenge to pick a pose and then draw it from... 5 or however many different angles. Just kind of go around the figure and draw different areas, maybe even without reference.

how about just a concept or emotive theme?

like "loss" or "strength", etc

yep yep..that wud be a good challenge,emotion is the key to most art.
