How do you study Anatomy and let it inform your drawing skills?

Hello there, so i recently got two books anatomy for the artist by sarah simblet and figure drawing design and invention by michael hampton. I am thinking of working through both books simultaneously, i have been reading through anatomy for the artist while waiting for figure drawing design and invention to arrive. i was wondering how do i study anatomy and let it inform my drawings. I was thinking i should follow the figure drawing book and reference it along with the anatomy book. For example, if i am learning how to draw the arm in the figure book i reference it with the anatomy book?. I was also thinking do i draw the skull, bones and muscles in 10 different angles in order to get used to understanding where the anatomy is? What advice would you give to me?
Thanks
