Enhanced Numerical Editor for Silo

See this thread on the Silo forums:

The Enhanced Numerical Editor for Silo is a more flexible replacement for the old and very large and cumbersome numerical editor that's built into Silo. This new script, which can run in the background and never needs to be closed or "reset". Users of Silo rejoice! Now all your x, y, z, coordinates are belong to us!

The new numerical editor, as I said, is very flexible. It will normally dock at the bottom of the screen a few pixels above the bottom toolbar. The new GUI is floating by default, even when "docked" and can be pulled around with the mouse to anywhere on the screen within Silo's main window. To reset the position either change from the small to the large gui by pressing a white arrow or adjust the size of the window by dragging a corner.

The GUI updates in realtime and reflects exactly what would have been displayed within the default numerical editor.

In addition to the small gui being wonderfully small, all three major components of the numerical editor are easily accessible. To switch between Position x/y/z, to Rotation, to Size, and back to Position, simply click on the little symbol on the far left to cycle through.

The new GUI has two modes. The small, compact GUI, and the larger GUI that reflects the data that the smaller ones does not. Access to this larger GUI is especially useful when updating many different components of data on many different points and eliminates the need to constantly "cycle" in the smaller GUI. There are also additional boxes for Scale, Distance, and Angle.

Also, to cycle between World and Local coordinate systems simple exand the GUI to the large one and toggle between "W" and "L" by clicking the button on the bottom right hand side. The script can identify which coordinate system is currently active and will update itself accordingly if a change occurs.

I've been working on this thing all week and I've tried very hard to make sure that it functions flawlessly. If anyone finds any problems with how this script runs and can duplicate the problem, please let me know.

And above all, enjoy and happy modeling.

Oh, and one last thing. The program loads into the tray area of your taskbar. If you want to exit the tool just right click on it and exit.

There was a bug in the code that was preventing ENE4Silo from launching properly. If you have version 1.1 and you are experiencing this problem please try re-downloading the executable.
