how to deselect an area of edges, vertices or faces.

hi

well, i have always made my models in maya, but recently i decide to give SILO a test drive...and i most say that i absolutely love SILO for modeling, the interface is good, the tools are intuitive and inteligent, and the workflow is fantastic.

-is there a way to unselect an area of edges or vertex with out losing the other selection?...this would be the equivalent in maya of holding control to unselect a certain area of edges, vertex, or faces..

thanks in advance

you can set selections options in 'options->mouse setup' menu. what you prob want is "select thru subtract".
