Silo tips and tricks

Okay folks, here's a place to post tips, tricks, and cool things you've learned about Silo that might help somebody else out.

Here's one: You can use Silo's Smooth command like a paint brush, thanks to selection highlighting. Just hold down the hotkey and drag your mouse over the mesh to highlight components.

When you've finished modeling using mirror instance, don't de-instantiate instance. Instead, delete the instance and mirror the original.

Use options - display options - backface culling.... to spot any flipped faces in your mesh, the flipped ones will appear transparent.

One day, deleting edges won't leave isolated verts. Until then do "select all" in verts mode and tap delete. Only isolated verts will be deleted (may not work if more than one object is selected).
