substracting from selection

substracting from selection

is it possible to deselelct selected geometry by holding down keys + mousebutton, like it is in other like maya or max?

shift+ctrl+LMB

default setting is:
SHIFT + ALT + LMB

I highly recommend checking out the mouse Setup window (Options > Mouse Setup...). You'll be able to see what all the mouse button + modifier combinations do. You can also reassign anything you like there.
