It's the best $100 I ever spent on a modeling tool. I've used Maya, Max, Animation:Master, and some other 3D tools, but Silo is the best, most straight-forward, easy-to-use modeling program for me.

I think there's three things you have to check before getting a new tool:

1.) Look at the galleries, not just the main website gallery, but also the forum galleries where you 'll see alot more of the programs capabilities.

2.) Try it for yourself, get the fully-functioning 30-day demo

3.) Is the price worth it for you?
