These Videos I think should be added to this list of links. I'm watching all of them now, and they really help lay out the basic functions to get profficient with Silo

I could be from anywhen really if I'm a timelord!

Glad the tutorials have been helpful. As Mr. Kurv himself says the SILO video is in the bag so to speak.

I've tried to cover as much as possible and the first two sections (which are a good few hours long) simply cover the interface and the absolute basics of the dropdowns. There has been some debate as to the level top pitch it at and I am firm believer in starting from the ground and working up. The first sections are for newbies and I'd like a new user to pick it up, watch it and understand SILO in terms of its capabilities. Then move onto sections 3 and 4. I've tried to cover every item on the menu and of course all of the tools.

The third smaller section is an hour or so on creating a Low Poly model with the Topology brush from a high poly mesh. I am toying whether or not to throw in another section on making polygon patches with the Topology brush but it may be too long.

The third is like my free head model session but I created a Dino/Fish thingy using a concept from a cool concept artist Kemp Remillard http://kempart.com/

Sounds good Glen, I reckon you did the right thing starting from scratch, even competent Silo users may have missed stuff...

Looking forward to it...

PS Any chance of Billie Pipers number...

Hi Glen (southern) I just read your bio thing on Kurv's website.

My first 3d app was Imagine as well! What is up with those guys.
Website is still there but development on Imagine seems to have stopped.
