Lots of people use Silo with C4d, they play very nicely together. The only limits are on C4ds side - no n-gons on imported meshes even in R9 and lousy .obj support. - Baz

Welcome SILO!

Silo's a great product so far. It has alot of the power of certain higher-end modeling programs for a fraction of the price.

I've only messed around with the demo, but hope to get it soon.

I have played around with the Silo demo and I do like what I see. I plan to buy a copy when I upgrade my computer (God knows when that will happen). With all the talk about Silo, I'm suprised that there wasn't a forum implemented sooner!

I too was wondering why there was no Silo forum on CGTalk, and now, here we are

Silo looks very interesting to me. I currently model in Maya, and i've heard that Silo and Maya can play very nice with eachother. I've got the demo, and will making a purchasing decision soon.

Thanks for setting this forum up.

George

form what I understand it is possible to add icons to the interface if you want, but you may have to code, but I have seen screen shots of people who have icons in silo.
