1+1=3? What do you think about collective art?

Hi everybody!

I'm a spanish student and I'm working in a university online art project and I'm very interested in collective art.

The main idea of my project is about the fact that when you make art in group you can develope facets that you may not reach working alone. This is like the "Koulechov effect" (1+1=3) which says that when you combine two elements with their own meaning you get another different element with another new meaning (which probably you couldn't get in another way).

I'm also working with the surrealist tecnique "exquisite corpse" (that consists in making an art piece by two or more members which doesn't know what the other members are doing), in Graffitis, films made by more than one director, poetry,...

So I want you to talk about your experience in collective art, if you are interested in it, what do you think about making art in group, if you would like to have the opportunity of working with other artists or if you have some information to add about this.

Well, I'd be so glad if you share your oppinion and comments about all this. Thank you very much.
