yeah if you want to do a really thick circle, use the delet method

What sort of flattening are we talking about? I did some 'spearminting in PS, and the flattening I saw took the shape of a regular 16-sided polyhedra, but which was only apparent at very high thicknesses. I have also noticed some purely horizontal and vertical flattening using selections rather than strokes, which probably has to do with interpolation.
