Here's my abandoned character and scene from an animation I was attempting to do, I was going to be half an hour long and the other character was a mutant sea cucumber. I finished him but can't find any evidence of ever doing it. This was about 8 years ago !

God, Linda, even your abandoned stuff is awesome!
Well... here comes my crap.

A 3D illustration based of Frank Herbert's God Emperor of Dune, created for a Design assignment in college. I really would've liked to have spent more time working on it (particularly the bodies and enviroment), but the deadline was tight and I had to render the entire image out at print resolution (2500x4500 pixels), so most of it was still WIP.
Don't know if I'll ever do another Dune piece (except I love the book and characters); I'd probably start from scratch if I did, though.

A character concept (might've been for Machineflesh, I think). It really didn't seem to be going anywhere for me (I didn't feel that it was really "unique", plus the machine aspect was poorly designed), so I scrapped it.

Lorelei

Well. first I want to say that I'm new in this site, so I hope to meet people. I found this thread interesting so I'm showing something of mine that i never finished. Is a photoshop painting of a girl called Lorelei, I didn't have a story for her, I just wanted to paint something lol. I was getting fascinated with the face but I had problems with the body: first, the neck and arms skin tones were different of the face, I couldn't paint her hand and the hair looks flat, I did this with a mouse. Well, I need you to tell your opinion please, so my greetings to everybody. Bye.

Hehe. Surely, when it is centre to left, but when it is centre to right it is about survival

This was originally for a Daily Sketch topic -- CG Addict. I stopped because I didn't want to draw the keyboard. I'd start from scratch if I ever decided to revisit the concept.

This one could fit also for my first digital painting thread, don't know if i'll find the time to finish it... i think it's also because of the idea, i don't exactly know where i go with this one :\

one of those pieces where i didnt do enough planning before hand, and it just kinda fell flat.
i still like the concept and i might redo it completely but this one as it is, wont get any more love from me.

Created this about 2 years ago. With sweet little time for side projects and the fact that it's just copying someone's else's concept I can't justify the time required to go any further for now.

That's a really good model man! The features are in place and it just looks like him I'd say.

I'm a big abandoner, and in this tread i can see it's quite a normal thing
A lot of great stuff here! As newbie and self-teaching my wip are really some crappy wip..
i'll post one only.
I started this head before i was able to make one... i hadn't studied face anatomy at all. but I started to see something wrong, too many things wrong... then i thougt i would better be learning anatomy before searching for a good topology and abandoned this.

some early expression tests..

and the point of abandone.. bottle heads!

http://blender.sixmonkeys.geek.nz/v...Blends&id=BaseM

made in Blender.

Cheers!
Btw Chewey your model was awesome... why not to finish it?
