This is awesome! Thanks guys

Are game character assets and game animation showreels acceptable for the portfolio review?

Awesome! I signed up for the live webcast, but I may or may not be able to watch the whole thing live. Can you UN-register me for the webcast and free up space for someone else? I'll catch the recorded replay later.

Fantastic! I was missing this thread and I just started a thread because I need feedback for my reel!
As Nirmalendu I'm a self-taught artist too, and I'm currently working on my reel so I don't have a video, but I have some character stills to show. I will tag them in my portfolio. I don't think I could watch the live but I can't wait for the recording! :-)

Thanks for this opportunity!

Blur Review! links and doubts

Hi Everyone! Buscat, Kirsty Parkin!

I was also in doubt about my reels are 3d Generalist, however,
I tagged with blurvfx, blurcharacter and blurenviro.

I wanted to know if everything is right for the Blur review
with these links...

And if have some problem they are several separate?

One more parallel doubt. I have some more recent jobs,
but yet in production movie waiting to publish. How you advise show this?
Only after the film was released, or have other way, kind if the film is never released.
Have some way? Thank you!

Buscat, also if you guess aremany links, please say me,
I take off some and let just the I think better.

Best Regards!

Hi Ricmage - you've tagged this one as both blurvfx and blur character, but it basically contains characters, so I'd leave it in that category alone. As for your other questions about whether you can show work, I'll see if I can get Chad to answer that one!

Thank you to Cg society for organizing this great event. I am excited for this to get some feedback from my favorite studio Blur

Thanks for taking to time to meet up this evening with us "outsiders" Although the majority of my tagged submissions will be environment stills, I hope it's fair play in the critique.

I'll be getting back from band practice in time to grab a Guinness and sit down for the festivities. Thanks again and look forward to it.

Cheers,
Andy
