I am really liking this idea! My only qualm would be the semi-cliche half face being cyborg. Maybe if you made one eye cyborg, kind of subtle, that would be better than making half his skull that way, it just seems a bit cliche to me, but you might be able to pull it off so it looks original. I'll keep an eye out on this thread

Concept Sketch: Character Pose Composition



Thank you all for your comments guys. I'm currently working on the cyborg's head, but meanwhile i am alos exploring for a better pose for my characters. Here is what i came up with just now. I took the suggestion from Alex.h and mixed it up with my original ones. Tell me what u think....

hi overcontrast....the pose looks fine and shows good kind relationship.........hmm the angle...i think u probably will change when u do it in 3d ..........btw great modeling on the head!!

I like you combination of the two concepts more. Great work. As for the head, very cool. He looks tough as hell, which must be a good thing for this kind of character. Great

Modeling: Cyborg Modeling Update



Here is another modeling update of the cyborg. I'm really not happy with the ear. But i guess the basic shape of the head is okay.... c&c plz

Talking nice modeling

Yep ears are a horror to model...try melting it more into the skull near the edges....I'm sure it will help....coming along nicely
