Very good concept and comical, should be a blast to model. Good luck!

Somebody's thinking....Full of opportunity to convey emotions this one
Looks like you're almost ready to start thinking about where this is going on (environment) and when transferred into 3d I think a slightly lower camera angle, looking up at the big fella, will add to the mood of the poor underdwellers.
Keep up the great work!

I like your use of color. Very bright and cheerfull. Are you going to use this same color scheme in your 3D version as well?

Concept Sketch: Nearly there

Modeling: Start of Modelling

this is where im at after a few hours of modelling, the back and top of the torso are very rough and should improve a lot as i add to the character.
the bottom sillouhette is the quick character sheet i drew up, going for realistic looking but with accentuated features. any c&c is welcome

Looking like a solid mesh allright. Are you just going to cut more and more edges into it or are you also going to use ZBrush.

Modeling: Base Model COntinuation

thanks for the reply,
i dont have zbrush yet so at this stage ill just be cutting into it for detail. a smallish update, still got work to do on the toes (a bit flat) but so far im pretty plaesed with it.

EDIT: sorry about the quality of the wireframe, my attempt to use an ovarlay failed, so there are quite a few missing polys in the mesh
