I'm hooked... the image you've got so far as a concept sketch is great! i'm really looking forward to seeing how it comes out within 3D.

omg that looks wonderful so far - damnit I am haveing withdrawals..no scanner and no computer right now. All I am doing is tons of little thumbnail sketches on post-its at work
Your sketch looks very promising and I love the color scheme so far. Will you introduce some more dramatic highlights?

Pleeeze don't skip finishing the concept. I think we're all waiting for how it will come out. Besides 2d lighting beats rendertimes especialy when it comes to volume light & caustics

Hi, 1st Angel!
A guy from the DSG gave me a link to your thread - it seems we both had the same idea (DOH!!)
Fortunatly, I'm taking a very different path from you.
Yours is really beautiful! I'll be looking forward to see the final entry.

That's a really classic interpretation of the theme, and it could turn out really good. It would be nice if you had an interesting twist somewhere inside, that would make it interesting.

Concept Sketch: concept update
Just defined a few minor details, as 3draven asked for.
Am unpatiently finishing the aditional penceling at the moment, i took up the \\\"medeval point\\\" and am working out a set of weapons, based on artist tools.
well, and this time, fullsize sketch
addons, patterns on her corsett, worked out the featherstuctures and refined the lines to make clear what belongs where
colorscheme: broke up the blue with a bit of sepia, i felt it looks oversaturated what made it cheap.
the messy black could be some foregroundelements, bit unsure about that yet but felt it needs more contrast. lol, like the splats somehow... even thought how shitty they look. adds some bit of painterly mess was like real-life-painting.
last but not least, i will start to model tonight and see how far i get, the piece started very spontanious, and i want to keep it like that.
every c&c most welcome, best luck to all!
