40 sec 3d Pre-show spot for Canada's largest theater chain.

Hi all!

Here's a spot I did for Cineplex Theaters, Canada's largest theater chain. It was 14 shots with 4 different endings completed in about 5 weeks by myself with some help from a character artist.

Everything save for character modelling and design was done in Cinema 4D, with Global illumination in every shot (that was fun to get working...). I had a character artist do the model/texture/animations, but because FBX exports from 3ds max are terrible, I ended up having to teach myself to rig and animate in the space of 2 days. I used the messed up FBX imports as reference for my re-animations (using cactus dan's FBX import). As a result, the character animations are not the toast of the spot.

This spot ran just before lights down on 1400 screens across Canada for the month of December, and was sent out by Cineplex executives (including the CEO) as a holiday greetings card. Very happy with it

Let me know what you think looks good, and what you think could be better! I havent been in the freelancing game very long, and i'm always looking for constructive criticism.

Oh, should add: Rendered with Cinema 4d's built in Advanced Render (no vray here), and composited in AE.

Every project i swear that i'm going to learn Nuke, but never do! Doing the DoF in AE was slow, and I'm hoping that one day Nuke will fix up my workflow.
