screentest crits

Hi all,
started work on a small scene and just looking for some crits on the first part (for now).
For those who know the dialogue already, it's a serious monologue but I'm making him appear like someone who's had a bit too much to drink instead (the second part will be using a female from a different movie to respond).
Anyways, any thoughts you may have are appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

Hi bujin9
At the moment the weight looks a tad off and too still. I understand your trying to do a drunk guy, so if you watch drunk people they are always trying to maintain their balance but then go too far and have to shift the weight back and then go too far again.

I hope that makes sense.

thanks!
I'll add more 'drunkeness' to his movements. I'm always fighting between making my movements to 'floaty' verses movements to sharp while still maintaining some degree of overlap. I'll try to add some weight to his hips and shoulders to emphasis the weight plus maybe with some added upper body movements.

Cool, I agree with the other comments. I would focus on a nice pass for that first pose start pose into the second pose of the scene. Slow that first pose out and then get into the second one with out being so floaty. I would also add more sway to the upper body. Sometimes it is like the top half is about to fall over out of control (when drunk) and the bottom half is just trying to keep you from tipping over. Nice start!
