Nice concept, sexy, romantic, and space related, what else could you ask for! Right now I am leaning towards #1 only because I know you will do a kick @ss job on the figures and I want to see all the detail.

I loved your picture for the "machineflesh challenge" and i find your new concept very interesting.
I hope that you'll do such a nice picture as in the past challenge.
I can't wait to see the final picture!
Go on and good luck.

i love the mystery, peace and reserved solidarity surrounding the world 'stranger'. i hope you can capture something powerful in that character, and i will look forward to this piece.

Love the sketches - really fluid - drawing figures is not easy (well for me anyway) so to see such work is really inspiring. Good idea too...

I thought your MF entry was amazing, so I'll be watching to see how you progress...Good Luck!!!

Cool sketches! Love the princess sketch in lower right corner. There's a lot of place for hi-tech details on her clothes.
I think you should avoid the stranger looking right at viewer, add more dramatism to the scene! Better make him looking a bit up/right (from his point of view) as if there was some danger, or even looking back at the ship (not really a good idea while carrying such a fragile body).

I wish you luck with this challenge! Looking forward for your work to be finished

nice sketches so far jason. Your MF entry was wicked - I'm sure this will turn out great too.

Very cool work. I reallly like your work a lot. I like seeing how loose your sketches can be, especially knowing how clean and tight your finals are. Thanks for sharing.

I like the filling of the sketches. The man rescuing the princess fells calm and serine in all the chaos surrounding them, it gives him a god like attitude.

Very nice. I think the contest theme entails some drama here, and it looks like you're going for an emotional scene. Keep the sketches coming...I'll be back.

Concept Sketch: sketches

Here's an idea I had of a group of resistance fighters taking a stand against enemy fighters while they try to buy time for the princess to escape.

Concept Sketch: Sketches

Here's another sketch in the same storyline. This one has the runaway princess with the character that saved her in the first sketch I did. They are in the streets of a giant metropolis trying to blend in with the podestrians while evading the probes above.

Concept Sketch: Sketches

Again, something from the same storyline. This is a climactic scene where the evil emperor has seemingly defeeted the hero and is choking the princess to death. However, the hero is not yet dead and sees a dagger within reach...
