Hum.. for me the first design (post #31) is better, I like the engines placed like on the B52`s

Hi Nomad! I also like the engines on the wings. But it looks more like a bomber (you also wrote that the engines were placed like on the B52's). I will probably place both machines on the battlefield. The bomber can be dedicated to destroy tanks and for example landing carriers. But first I must smooth it a little bit, so that it looked closer to the style of the fighter.
Thanks for your comments! Keep them comin'

The bomber reminds me on Flash Gordon... cause the wings I think!

Looking forward to see the final result!

Modeling: "SAD" vehicle

Hi! This is my first ground unit. It's "Seek And Destroy" vehicle. It belongs to the Vartans(defenders). Without textures it may look weird, but I'm planning to start texturing in about two weeks.

Modeling: hover armoured carrier

Hi there! With this carrier Vartans(defenders) will get to the battlefield. It's open, so that troopers can see the situation and also shoot from the carrier.

Modeling: combat probe

Ground unit of invaders. Not sure if I make some more units apart from troopers, because there is not much time, and not much sapce on the picture:)

for a project that is supposed to be epic, you are the first person i have seen that has the large variety of ships that you do... you deserve many kudos for that. and they are good designs too...

Hi guys! Iím grateful for you comments and support. I went into a trance with my modeling The reason is very brutal, With the end of the year I will have much work on my university. I will be doing many semester projects and start learning for the exam session. I'm studying computer science in automatics and robotics, so much hard stuff will come with the end of the year. Now I leave doing mechanicals and start with the terrain to see how much exactly space will I have for the battlefield.

Once again thanks for your posts, and keep them comin' because it always gives a kick to work

Hi Artur :-)

Nice thread and can se you already done some nice modells. I think the last modells are more orginall, like the armored carrier very original, and the ships to. i have to make some crituques too, i like the clean style you have of your models, BUT it would be nice to se scetches of how you have imagine how the modells should look like when they are finnished. and those "bump" dots that you have put on the first modells, and last, they dont fit i think, they are applied to randomly on the modell, some dots look good but they are to many, i will keep an eye on your progress too, as i said earlier some of the modell are very original! try to keep the "clean" style it looks much nicer . good look
