Thanks for the support.
I will be tweaking the coposition a bit more and strt developing the ship in the next few days.
I need to start pacing myself. We have lots of time I don't wan't to burn out.
I is fun seeing everyone take off so fast.
For me the hardest thing will be the modeling, So It will really slow down then.

No new sketches for today, I am building a ray-gun for my halloween costume.
So I had to work on that lastnight. It's fun to get away from the computer and use my hands for something else.

Thanks again for all your suggestions and kind words.

Nice!

I love that last image (as well as the bottom panel of the first sketch) a LOT. Awesome stuff, and I'd love to see it in 3D. Although your sketch alone is pretty awesome as it is.

I want to see that ray gun in your final image as well.

Arrow

Hi!
Great concept

A question: is it allowed to post multiple images like you plan to do?

Good luck.

I love that last picture! Great colours, composition and scale...and the theme puts it all into a really interesting context. I'm really looking forward to the first 3d steps. Gonna have to keep an eye out on this one

Stunning concepts!
I really like the idea too, because that's for sure that in the future when interstellar travelling is possible (if ever) there surely will be many new worlds to explore and therefore many new expeditions.

Keep it up!

Very cool idea. I can't wait to see what you come up with for the costume designs for the pilgrim/Columbus characters. I like the idea of the tripic as well. It really helps convey the story.

The latest concept is fantastic, Kory!!

The colours and composition are spot on and the scale of the ships fits the theme perfectly...

Can't wait to see the first 3D steps...

Good luck!!

This really is a great idea! Maybe you could also add some future indians to the scene.
