Looks great! Good decision on doing it in 3D over 2D I think.
Not too many 3D spaceOpera pics around.
Yeah, it will be xtremely hard, but doable.
I'm joining the support group ;-)

All right, just saw your first concept sketch and already I feel like throwing in the towel I'll be watching this with interest.

@miketche: I wouldn't worry to much, it's easy enough to draw, I 'might' even get away with the modelling, but I have no idea how in hell I'm going to do the rest as yet

Quote: it will be xtremely hard, but doable

at least I think I should learn something from the attempt.

@DimitrisLiatsos: Thanks mate, me being in the 3D section at all is nuts, blame the Wabbit he talked me into it

@oshiroii: I can see I'll have to address that monument situation actually I was planning on having it look a bit more chiselled, if you know what I mean, ie as if it ha been made out of a huge block of stone or similar, I don't want it too detailed, as I still feel I'd like the focus to be on the smaller ship, I just got carried away with the drawing

@rattlesnake: thanks mate, I'll see what I can do

@WazaR: thanks mate, I'm more comfortable with it knowing that someone else thinks so too

Quote: diagonals are our friends.

yes indeedy

Thanks once again for all the input guys

That sketch is amazing, Brian!!

The persective and angle of view give it tons of drama!! And the sketch itslef is lovely... all expressive lines and quick marks.

Love it.

Gonna miss you in the 2D.... sigh....

Let's see more!!
