Dynamesh Problems in 4R3?

I've been using Zbrush 4R3 for some time now with no problems until recently. When I start a project with Dynamesh I usually start blocking out the body and adding more resolution to the model gradually and usually I end up with a heavily detailed model. But recently as I gradually add more res to my models the poly count won't go over 180,000 points. This has been happening a lot more frequently lately and its holding back a lot of projects that I've been planning to work on. Any help would be much appreciated.

Not sure why this is happening. Could be just one of those crazy ZB 'Ghosts in the machine'. A fresh install might solve it. Or better yet: why not just upgrade to R6??

I haven't heard of that problem before, it could be one of those things that will go away if you close and then reopen ZBrush.
Why don't you upgrade to 4R6? It's a free upgrade and there have been some big improvements and additions to the program since 4R3.
I like to learn.
